Hi there, Wow! What an amazing week we have just had at Audacious!
It was my first time at Audacious and I loved it. We had some awesome worship and excellent speakers. We also had fun times together as a youth group.

Andy Wodams is a legend, very entertaining. I was crying with laughter most nights! Super massive black ball was great fun… who thinks we should have a go at Kinetic? Well done to John, getting a mention in ‘this text is on fire’.

Anyway thought I’d write a brief outline of what impacted me most this week. We had Russell Evans, all the way from Planetshakers (Australia) to start the week off. He spoke about Idols… what we give our time to, is what we worship. What we chase after is what consumes us. So simple but so true! We need to make sure that we chase after God (Not playstations, Xbox, money or popstars!).

Russell also spoke about being the ‘shout of the Church’ and how we can be atmosphere changers. Joy is a discipline and it’s up to us to bring joy into situations. God wants us to leave a ‘mark’ wherever we go…school, college, home or work. Russell challenged us by asking what ‘mark’ are we leaving. Let’s choose to make a difference in someone’s life. I’ve been thinking about how we at Kinetic can make a difference: Let’s continue to demonstrate God’s love, for example, buy the shop assistant a chocolate bar. Do something nice for a friend, have a good attitude at school, college and at home.

Mark Ritchie was great; don’t think we will ever forget his dog story! He challenged us to carry the presence of God wherever we go, being full of faith and trying things that haven’t been attempted. I was wondering how we can put this into practise and I think it’s time for Kinetic to step out of the comfort zone and do something wild!
How about:
• Offering to pray with a friend next time they are going through a difficult time.
• Praying for someone who is unwell.
• Be brave and invite someone to Kinetic or Kinetic Plus.

Mark Ritchie said something that really challenged me… it’s worth trying as it won’t do any harm to fail.

What a fantastic week, I will definitely be going next year. Why not start saving up for Audacious 2010 and get ready to be challenged and have a life changing week!
